The Schmetz Top-stitch Needle has an elongated eye (2mm) and slightly rounded point. The special elongated eye means there is less stress on the thread and means that even 2 or 3 threads can glide effortlessly through the eye and are handled gently without tearing. Thanks to the slightly rounded point, the Top-stitch Needle can easily be used with a wide range of fabrics.
